Maybe if political weblog writers and Sunday morning pundits spent a little less time debating the history of typewriter design and a little more time on the real problems this country faces, we'd be in slightly better shape as a nation.

i'm reading the 9/11 commission report, which mentions time after time inaction based on bureacracy, lack of information being disseminated, protocol, and what i believe to be fear to act. there was a section i read earlier, but i'm rushed so can't quote it now; if i find it i will, though it may be long. btw, i'm not pro-war, i hate war, but understand the need for it.
